Brief Description of the Charity

Sal DiBianca and his wife Debby founded the Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills, North Carolina organization and have been serving as the directors, helping youth, adults and families for over 32 years. Since pioneering the men’s residential recovery program in 1987, it has enrolled thousands of men desperately needing hope and healing to overcome drug and alcohol addiction.

Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills is a residential faith based recovery program for men ages 18+ with a drug or alcohol problem. An ideal place for recovery, Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills is located on 31 tranquil acres in the heart of Moore County. Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills provides food, clothing, a warm bed, academic materials, etc., which are necessary to insure the student receives the spiritual, emotional, vocational, and academic training required to help him overcome the problems which led to his addiction.

Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills also engages in drug and alcohol prevention for youth in Moore County and across the state of North Carolina in public school assemblies, youth groups and youth events. In addition, Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills engages its students in community projects and engagements, such as Back Pack Pals, to teach them about the importance of community service and give them an opportunity to give.

Applications will be placed in the Pinewild Golf Shop and the Sandhills Teen Challenge volunteers will distribute within their networks. Applications will be sent to Sandhills Teen Challenge for processing.

Entry Fee:

Non-Sponsorship Entry:

$100 per Person (Member) or $125 (Non-Member)

This will include range balls, lunch, and prizes. People can sign-up as individuals or as teams. The Golf Shop will form teams from any individual sign-ups. Entry Fee checks made out to Sandhills Teen Challenge.

All individual participants will be paired by the Golf Shop to form a team.

Flights:

Flights will be determined by the number of participants entered and will descend in order of combined team index from low to high.

Handicaps:

100% of Handicap based on each individual’s most recent index revision as of closing date of entries.

Rule 3-5:

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the first place Net winners in each flight.

(Each participant will be eligible for a variety of prizes donated by local businesses.)

Ties:

Non-Posting Round due to Mulligans in play.
